Where do I start! Blue sky have been absolutely amazing throughout this whole pandemic. I can’t thank them enough for making me feel reassured by the way they put my daughters safety and happiness first. The procedures they have put into place are fantastic, like checking temperatures before entry and adhering to social distancing they have really settled any nerves I first had. Overall I think the genuine pure love and care they have for our children has really shone through these past couple of months and I wouldn’t have my daughter anywhere else.

As my wife and I are teachers, we sent our daughter to Blue Sky so that we could continue to work (mainly from home). Upon arrival, her temperature is taken to ensure that she doesn’t pose a risk to other children or staff. It is a non-contact thermometer, so she is not at all bothered by having her temperature read. Understandably, given that my daughter is 3, social distancing between herself, staff and other children isn’t really possible; however, I trust that staff members with any symptoms would not be entering the setting. Also, as the other children are tested before entering, the risk is minimal. My daughter loves going now more than ever as it feels ‘like normal’ to play with friends. I think it is so important for her social and emotional well-being also. I am very grateful to all staff members for continuing to care for my child.

My son has been attending this nursery for nearly a year now and I couldn’t be happier with the level of service provided. They truly treat him as if he was their own child and he has thrived in their care. He had a food intolerance and they were very careful with the food provided to him. I would recommend Blue Sky to anyone.

Its a hard decision choosing to use a nursery and harder still to find one that fits the needs of both child and child. Blue Sky have met and then exceeded what I was looking for. Seeing our daughter laugh, play and learn is fantastic but seeing her comforted and soothed by the team at ‘drop off’ turns those heartbreaking moments into heartwarming ones. There are so many little touches that make this place special but the genuine care shown by every single member of the staff cannot be understated.

My daughter Liliana loves coming here. I have really seen her grow in confidence since she started here, and her speech has come on amazingly. The staff are lovely and there are always fun activities for the children, with a big focus on learning and development. I am so happy to have found such a great nursery for my daughter and I highly recommend it.

We moved to the area in 2014 and frantically searched for the perfect nursery for our then two year old Freddie (ok chose this one as we can literally see it from our house). I worried that I had made a hasty decision but as soon as we walked in for the visit he felt at home and I felt reassured. He hasn’t wanted to leave since and looks forward to nursery every day. I love that he sees his ‘vouchers’ (no idea why he calls the teachers vouchers) in the street and in town and is so pleased when they say hello to him. He has really come on since joining the nursery and is now a happy well rounded three year old. I don’t think the working mother balancing act/guilt ever goes away completely but it helps no end knowing he is spending his days in such a happy environment and has made some amazing new friends since we moved here as have I, all thanks to Blue Sky!

Since starting nursery in the Imps Room at the age of 2 years, my child has absolutely thrived under the guidance of the lovely staff at Blue Sky Day Nursery. With little to no previous social interaction with children of his own age prior to starting at this nursery he has become much more confident and has learned so much with all the activities he gets the chance to enjoy. Most importantly of all, I feel confident as a parent that he is very well looked after and he is so excited to attend.
